Business Development Junior

About the Role

We’re a small, focused startup building software for boutique hotels and the local businesses that serve their guests. We’re looking for a junior business development hire to grow both sides of our network: the hotels that run on our platform, and the local vendors (tours, experiences, transport, wellness) whose services guests book through it. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys talking to people, wants to learn how a startup sells, and is motivated by earning based on results.

What You’ll Do

• Research and reach out to boutique hotels and vacation rentals that could benefit from our platform
• Book and help run product demos, then follow up until the deal closes
• Recruit local vendors (tours, experiences, transport, wellness) to offer their services to hotel guests
• Help new hotels and vendors get set up and started on the platform
• Keep the sales pipeline and contact notes up to date
• Share what you hear from prospects and clients with the product team

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent Spanish and English, spoken and written
• Based in Mexico and comfortable working remotely
• Clear, friendly communication and persistence with follow-ups
• Interest in hospitality, tourism or technology (sales experience is a plus, not a requirement)

Compensation

• Base pay of $10,000 MXN / month
• 20% commission on the revenue from every client you sign, for that client’s first 2 years
